Every Week
Kids Church happens during our 10am LateStart service and is on pretty much every Sunday of the year. The kids start the service with the rest of the family and then head downstairs and over to the Ministry Centre after the kids talk (about 15 minutes into the service). Kids Church has groups from Pre-school to Grade 6 and is led by our Ministry Trainee Ben Carruthers and a great team of volunteer leaders.
Every week the Kids get to know God through his word and sing, do craft, and play games together. We have a blast! One Sunday a term we also run a special Kids Church Event based on a fun theme and then play games and have lunch together. These events are an opportunity for the kids to invite their friends along in the hope that they will get more involved. Kids Church is supplemented by a creche for babies and toddlers, and also a transition program called 7-9C for our Junior High Schoolers.
