Charleville
We arrived back in Charleville in time for the vacation Kids' Club program. This will be followed by a weekly program until September.
Roma Church
WE arrived back in Roma on New Years Eve. We are having a prayer breakfast for the year on January 10th. We have been greeted wamly again and the rain has lifted everyone's spirits. Please pray that the glory of God might be everyone's goal.
We will be in Surat to lead a fellowship luncheon on the 3rd Sunday. Later we hope to join the town bible study in Surat.
Quilpie sunrise
I delivered the sermon and helped lead the PIM service at Quilpie. Our intention had been to do other services but rain had made that less then feasible. We were up early so that Andrew the PIM patrol padre could do some fishing on his day off. We found a lovely spot near Cheepie on a big water hole in Beechal Creek a tributary of the Paroo River.
Our accomodation in Quilpie was courtesy of the McKays who run Opal House Quiplie which is gallery and accommodation in the "Brick" an historic two story brick hotel. www.quilpieopal.com
road to Windorah
15th March saw us leave for our trip to see some far flung members of the Charleville congregation. Windorah is five and half hours drive. We stayed Wednesday night in Windorah before heading out to visit Scott. Later that afternoon we stopped in Quilpie (about 3 hours drive) to renew our conection with the Christians in Quilpie.
Wandoan Church
We will not be returning here in 2009, but please continue to prayer for the church in Wandoan and at Noonga. We remember the warmth of the Wandoan people.
Noonga Hall
Noonga Hall where there are afternoon services each month.
The Kingaroy Church where we were based in January and February 2008.
